August 28, 2017, boarding time is 10:00 am. pull a typical mixed train of passenger cars, open gondola and short caboose from Antonito to Osier and back. The train will leave Antonito at 10.30 (boarding time 10.00 am) and will make several stops for photo run-bys. Lunch will be served at Osier and the expected to return to Antonito will be no later than 6.00 pm. Rio Grande Southern Special Excursion Charter on the C&TS - Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad

September 4-5 & 6, 2017 The Rio Grande Southern will live again on the C&TS, with the re-creation of RGS 455.  We are planning on actual RGS caboose #0400 and are working to make this an even bigger and better event.  This event is a fund raiser for the restoration of D&RGW T-12 #168 as well as Friends general restoration.  The #168 will be on display in Antonito during this event.
