Step 2: Activate Your Email / Review Saint Leo Technology

Registration Agreement

Completing your registration agreement is a key step in continuing with your education at Saint Leo University. This agreement makes you aware of the financial requirements for all students. If you do not sign your registration agreement, you will not be able to enroll in classes. If you have any questions prior to completing the agreement, please call Student Financial Support toll-free at (800) 240-7658.

Important Note: It is critical to complete your registration agreement as soon as possible.

You’ll also want toactivate your student email. You’ll start receiving important info about housing, registration and more as soon as we process your deposit so it is important to begin checking your student email. Once your email is activated, you’ll also gain access toOktaandeLion(manage financial aid, access academic information, register for and check class schedules, grades, account balance and other important student information). While you’re here, go ahead and bookmark these links. You’ll be using them a lot.

Determine Your Technology Needs

Are you planning to bring your own laptop/device to Saint Leo? Make sure it meets ourcompliant device requirements.

If you are not bringing a device, or your device does not meet our compliance standards, you are eligible for the Saint Leo Universitylow-cost laptop rental program.

Commuting or only enrolling part-time?

You are eligible for the Saint Leo University low-cost laptop rental program.

Step 3: Complete On-Campus Housing

Residential students will complete their housing application and room selection by logging into theirRESIDENCE account.

Your log in information will be as follows:

  • Username:firstname.lastname@email.saintleo.edu
  • Password:This is set as your Saint Leo email password.

To access your new RESIDENCE online account, you will need to use your Saint Leo University email account. Please note that newly admitted students will have to wait a minimum of 48 - 72 hours (during regular weekday working hours) from the time of their deposit before they can access the RESIDENCE system.

Step 4: Fill Out Required Forms

Based on your responses above, these are the forms you’ll need to fill out to complete the admission process. Most will require your Saint Leo University Student ID # and university email address, which you can find in your acceptance email sent by the Office of Admissions or by contacting your admission counselor.

Immunization (Required)

Please note: Your immunization formrequires a signature from your doctor, so don’t put it off until the last minute. Please try using our new Med+Proctor system to upload your health documents. If you cannot log in, please download the form and email it tohealth.center@saintleo.edu.

Student Health Insurance Waiver (Required)

Because all full-time studentsmusthave health insurance, Saint Leo automatically enrolls all full-time students in a university-approved health plan. To waive this coverage and prevent your account from being billed, complete the waiver process.

Please note: This waiver is not yet available for the Fall 2024 Semester. Please check back in July to access this waiver for submission before the Fall Semester.

Step 5: Get Ahead By Completing These Steps Before You Arrive

The last thing you want to do when you get to campus for the first time is wait in line for your student ID or a parking decal. Get these out of the way now (and thank us later).

Placement Testing (Required)

Option 1: If you have credits from Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, International Baccalaureate (IB), or Cambridge AICE/GCE, please submit your transcripts to Saint Leo University Registrar's Department to verify if you can waive the placement exams.

Option 2: If you took the SAT or ACT tests, please submit your official scores. We will use the highest score for English and Math placement.

Option 3: If you haven't completed Options 1 or 2, you must take the English and Math Online Placement Exams for Fall 2024. Details here: https://www.saintleo.edu/academics/success-resources/cave/placement-testing#toc-directions-for-the-placement-exam.

Students needing accommodations should contact the Office of Accessibility Services at (352) 588-8464 or email adaoffice@saintleo.edu to submit a formal request for ADA accommodations and provide the necessary documentation.

Failure to complete placement exams will result in automatic enrollment in foundational courses. Contact your Success Coach with questions.

In order to register for classes, please reach out to your Admissions Counselor to find out who your advisor is. Your Academic Advisor will help you register for classes.

For all Transfer Students: If you have taken college-level English and/or Math, please follow-up with your admissions counselor to see if we have your official transcript on file. If you have not ordered your official transcript, please contact the university or college you previously attended and have them sent as soon as possible.

If you have not taken college-level English and/or Math, you will need to complete Placement Exams. You will receive more information once you submit your deposit.

For First Time in College if previously dual enrolled or have AP credits:If you have taken AP credits and/or college level English and/or Math, please follow-up with your admissions counselor to see if we have your official transcript on file. If you have not ordered your test records or official transcript, please contact the appropriate office as soon as possible.

If you were not dual enrolled or receiving AP credit, you will need to complete Placement Exams. You will receive more information once you submit your deposit.

Placement Testing

Course Registration (Required)

To register for classes, first sign the REGAG. Your Academic Advisor will assist with registration, or you can contact Student Success directly at student.success@saintleo.edu. If you haven't signed your REGAG, contact your Admissions Counselor for assistance. Once signed, your Admissions Counselor will introduce you to your academic advisor, who will assist with class registration.

First Time in College: Contact yourStudent Success Coach to register.

Transfer Students: Contact your Faculty Advisor for registration.

Student ID (Required)

Your Student ID gives you access to campus buildings, pays for dining hall meals and can be loaded with “Lions Loot” to buy stuff at the Lion’s Lair and campus bookstore. View the information requirements, send over your approved photo, and pick up your ID once you get to campus.
