I've been playing hypixel skyblock for a long time, and wanted to share some easy money making methods for beginners ( :
If you have 0-20k coins:
Here are 3 things you can do if you just joined, its also a great way to level up your farming skill
-Farm! if you haven't unlocked the barn and the bazaar yet, you can farm wheat, carrot, potato, melon and pumpkin but farming the first 3 things is the best/fastest way (imo). Most people farm in the barn, so farming (wheat) in the hub is easier. you also get extra health when you level up (;
-Kill the animals in the barn, this is slower than farming, but great if you dont want to farm 24/7. i recommend killing chickens, as they sell for 26.9 coins each
-Fish. Most people find fishing boring (understandable) but you can get alot of money and health
If you have 20-100k coins:
There are alot of money making methods if you have 20-100k coins. ill try to name everything but im probably gonna forget a few methods lol
-Lapis armor. Kill lapis zombies in the deep caverns and get lapis armor. each piece sells for 5-10k coins atm, so you can easily make 100-200k coins per hour.
-Auction flipping. Tbh, i never bought and resold items on the ah. I make buy offers, craft stuff and sell them on ah for more. most people use this in midgame but i think it also works when you just joined! a few things you can 'auction flip' are:
> small backpacks. Unlocked at leather 3 and you need only 80 leather (3.4k) and you can sell them for 13k on the ah (bin)!
> rabbit pets. Unlocked at rabbit 2 and you need 1 enchanted egg (4.5k) and 64 raw rabbit (500). you can sell the rabbit pet for 12k on the ah (bin)
> small storage. Unlocked at oak wood 4 and you need 64 oak wood (650) and you can sell them for 3k on the ah (bin, again xD)
-Bazaar flipping. I only know 2 examples for this, but its better than nothing, right? the first one is rotten flesh. create a sell offer and wait till you got everything. create after that a buy order and you got 'free' money! the second item is enchanted gold. just do the exact same thing xD
-Minions. i did ALOT of research and maths and came to the conclusion that the rabbit minion with diamond spreading (dont use a compactor!) is the best way to get money. Other minions are definitely better if you want mining exp etc but yea idk i'll post later something about minions and exp.
-Farm, again. but not at public islands! make your own (big) pumpkin/sugarcane farm. I use a pupkin farm bc its fast and the farm is easier to make imo. There are many youtube videos about how you can make the best farm etc
note: farms are only good for money when you just started. its greaaaat for exp later tho!
-NPC flip. you can buy items from merchants and sell them to the bazaar for more. a few examples are: coal, iron and gold for the mining merchant, oak wood and jungle wood for the lumber merchant, bones and gunpowder for the adventurer and rabbit's foot for the alchemist
If you have 100-500k:
There arent many things you can do in this stage (unless you deal alot of damage and can kill zealots etc)
-Mine mithril. Mithril sells for 104 coins atm which is alottt. i made 7-10k per MINUTE with a diamond pickaxe with efficiency 5!
-Grind Ice walkers in the dwarven mines. Ice walkers can drop glacite armor and glacite jewels. Glacite armor sells for 11k-24k (depends on if youre selling the helmet, chestplate, leggings or boots) and glacite jewels sell for 90k per. i made 2mil in 1 hour with this!
-Auction flip. you can now sell more expensive items what means more profit (; I used to sell the next two items:
> Zombie swords. unlocked at rotten flesh 7 and all you need 512 enchanted rotten flesh (227.5k) and you can sell them for 380-420k!
> Medium backpacks. Unlocked at leather 5 and you need 512 leather (22.8k) and a small backpack (80 leather, 3.4k). You can sell it for 50k.
< Medium storage. Unlocked at oak wood 7 and you need 8 enchanted oak wood (11.8k) and a small storage (64 oak wood, 650 coins). You can sell it for uh... coins xD. Nobody is selling medium storages rn, but a small storage sells for 13k and a large for 420k so somewhere between that hahah
If you have 500k-1mil:
Its just grinding now, have fun spending too much time on minecraft <3 (jkk)
-Grind zealots. buy an aote and get a ton of talismans and reforge them to forceful or hurtful (or other things, but i like these) special zealots can drop summoning eyes and you can sell them for 706k each. Special zealots have a small chance of spawing when you kill normal zealots ( :
-Auction flip, again. I used to auction flip many things such as exp shares and carrot candy. here a few examples:
> Exp shares. All you need is 72 enchanted gold (71.2k) and an exp share core (500k-900k). go the auction house and click on BIN only. get the cheapest exp share core and craft it into a exp share. Now open the ah again and search exp share's, look at the price of the cheapest exp share and then put yours on ah (bin again!) for 1 coin less. You sometimes have 30k profit and sometimes 500k. It also depends on your timezone!
>Dragon armor. Buy dragon fragments on the bazaar (always make a sell order, instant buy is EXPENSIVE) and craft them into armor! Sell them for 1 coin less than the cheapest armor piece and you have profit ( :
Of course you can use the methods for if you have 0-20k or 20-100k also if you have 100-500k or 500k-1mil etc!
There are definitely more ways to make money, but these were all methods i know!
