Hey guys, today I'm here explaining to you guys what the best ways of making money are, and ranking them.
I'll be including everything that makes a "decent" amount of money, so mining iron ore and selling it to the NPC is not going to be included here.

Let's start!
I'll list the amount of gain, risk, and rarity out of 10. Gain means how much you get (so higher the better), risk means how risky it would be (so lower the better), and rarity means how rare it is (lower the better).

Requirements: Friends who have played the game for a decent amount of time.

Here's how it works. Friend who has played the game for a while quits and gives you a lot of stuff.
This can make several millions of coins at a time, and is effectively one of the best money making methods. Unfortunately, this is not a method that requires skill, rather, timing and given the right circumstances.
That said, it is also not wise to ask a quitting friend for stuff, or any quitting person at all (I'm talking to you, nons in hub 1 saying "gimme free stuff if you're quitting"). You can maximize your income by literally doing nothing and waiting for the time to come.
Also, it's possible that you'll just get banned and wiped for irl trading so make sure your "transaction" isn't fishy.

Gain: 10/10
Risk: 1/10
Rarity: 9/10

Requirements: Solid understanding of "normal" prices or a good guess of what prices will be after a certain point in time.

Bit confusing, but here's how it works. If you buy a ton of a certain item while they're low, then wait a certain amount of time in order to sell all of that, then you'll gain lots of money given that the item's cost increases. Something like Jerry Boxes can do this, where Golden Jerry Boxes during the event were around 1 million coins, but a few weeks/months after the event ended, they were around 3 million coins. Meaning for every box you invested in, you gained 2 million coins. Me investing 80 million coins on it would mean I ended up with a profit of 160 million coins.

Gain: 10/10
Risk: 8/10
Rarity: 3/10

Requirements: Skill and experience, along with a good understanding of what normal prices are, along with luck, speed, and patience.

By far one of the best methods is to buy cheap, sell high. Seems easy enough. You'll need to practice this to make the most out of each flip though, and you'll need to snipe underpriced auctions quickly. With the bazaar, it's a bit easier but with less profit.

Gain: 9/10
Risk: 2/10
Rarity: 5/10

Requirements: Good gear, skill, and good teammates. Oh and tons of luck.

This one may be a little inconsistent due to the fact that most gains from dungeons are based on luck, but overall it's not bad. Frag runs are often very efficient, but to even do frag runs well costs a lot of money. It's not a bad method of getting money, just that a lot of it is hard for a newer player to do. Therefore, this method is usually limited to late-end game players.

Gain: 8/10
Risk: 0/10
Rarity: 8/10

Requirements: No moral compass and no dignity.

Rule Breaking, including IRL trading (illegally), nuking, duping, scamming, hacking, etc. How much gain? Pretty good gain apparently. Should you do it? Lol no.

Gain: 8/10
Risk: 11/10
Rarity: 2/10

Requirements: Large farms, high farming level, good farming pet, and good hoes.

Just do a ton of farming. Things like nether wart or carrots (supposedly) are good for money.

Gain: 6/10
Risk: 0/10
Rarity: 0/10

Requirements: Events such as Jerry's Workshop, Spooky Festival, etc, and mayors like Diana.

Utilizing these events and mayors and making money while they are active can be very profitable. Something like Yeti Fishing can give lots of money if you're lucky.

Gain: 7/10
Risk: 0/10
Rarity: 8/10

Requirements: Zealot killing gear and luck.

How this works: stab zealots for eyes.

Gain: 3/10
Risk: 0/10
Rarity: 8/10

Requirements: no life

You beg in lobbies I guess.

Gain: -1/10
Risk: 0/10 (though no one's gonna like you lol)
Rarity: 10000000000000/10

Other money making methods probably exist besides the ones I mentioned, like minions or endermen grinding or slayers, but those aren't necessarily something that you can constantly grind (minions) or something that makes a lot of money (endermen or slayers). They're decent but I'm just going to pretend that they're negligible.

Say that you'll solo normal F4 blood room in sponge armor for 2 million coins.
This worked once from experience.
