The Jungle Cubs' Movie is an animated musical-comedy film based on the television series "Jungle Cubs". The film ends the central storyline of the series.

This film was produced by DisneyToon Studios, and released theatrically on Febraury 10th, 2006. Despite being a box office bomb, the film did well with critics. This is the 7th Disney movie based on a TV show after DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp in 1990, A Goofy Movie in 1995, Doug's 1st Movie in 1999, Recess: School's Out in 2001, The Lizzie McGuire Movie in 2003 and Teacher's Pet in 2004. It is the fourth and last theatrical movie to be based off a TV show from Disney's One Saturday Morning. In this film, Pamela Adlon, Dee Bradley Baker, Cree Summer, Stephen Furst, Jason Marsden, Jim Cummings, Michael McKean and David Lander from the series reprise their roles as Baloo, Bagheera, Louie, Hathi, Shere Khan, Kaa, Cecil and Arthur respectively.

Plot:[]

When some animals are kidnapped and taken to the city, the cubs leave the jungle and go to the city to rescue them and take them home safe and sound.

The Jungle Cubs' Movie was released in June 20th, 2006, on DVD, and later on Blu-ray in 2014 along with The Buzz on Maggie: The Movie in a 2-Movie Collection. The DVD includes the ninth episode of the series "Treasure of the Middle Jungle", "The Cubs' Animal Quest" game, "Cecil and Arthur's Animal Memory" game, DVD-Rom features, "The Making of Jungle Cubs" featurette, "Disney's One Saturday Morning History" featurette, three deleted scenes, Jump5's "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" music, a sing-a-long selection and a sneak peek into "The Buzz on Maggie: The Movie".

Deleted scenes

The deleted scenes are only animatics as they were either incomplete in time for the film or replaced with a different scene.

  • "Baloo's Homecoming": Baloo travels from the Gobi Desert to the Jungle after his vacation.
  • "Cecil and Arthur Follow the Cubs": Cecil and Arthur are seeing that the cubs left the jungle and they decided to follow them.
  • "Bagheera Finds the Marketplace": When the Cubs are entering to the Museum, Bagheera escape from it and enters to a Marketplace and tries to eat some delicious fruits, but Shere Khan catches him and takes him to the Museum with the Cubs.
