For Americans and British (and the rest of the world using Imperial measurement system) the "0 - 60 mph" is the first benchmark that comes to mind when it comes to measuring road car and motorcycle acceleration.
The 0 - 60 mph time is even more popular than 1/4 mile time. This is mainly due to ease of measurement - you do not have to go to dragstrip or seek a long stretch of empty tarmac to test a quick 0 - 60 dash yourself.
It is important to note that 60 mph does not equal 100 kph. For fastest cars from 0 to 100 kph we have a separate list.
This list is limited by available data and new vehicles will be added as new data arrives.

Met JaVore a Tesla tech who test drove all models, roadster aside, he tested a MosterS that is comparable to an S Plaid as My BMW pseudo M235i is to a real M3 in every performance aspect. 8 caliper carbon fiber brakes, so insanely quick your brain feel like blowing out the back of your skull. And not $Millions like Bugatti or even any base Italian doll, and ≈ mileage that’s 2X as the Prius.

I like how Americans always use ways to make their times sound faster and just brush the details underneath the sofa. 0-60mph is always faster than 0-100kph, then they use the 1ft roll out, which makes a difference between 0.2-0.3s. Then they use a prepared drag strip and have super sticky glue sprayed on its surface. The stick is so strong it would rip the bottom of your shoe soles off. All in the hope to get people to come onto forums to be keyboard warriors saying, no this car does 0-60 in 2.1, 1.99... 1.89, 1.66...
