How many Draconic Treatises can you use? ›

Draconic treatises are limited to one use per week.

Technique: Draconic Treatise on Inscription is learned by choosing the Archiving specialization of inscription. Once choosing Archiving you will need to use 10 points toward the Shared Knowledge trait before you can learn the Draconic Treatises trait.

Learning Jewelcrafting

1, initial training required a trip to The Exodar (for Alliance) or to Silvermoon (for Horde), as these were the only places you could learn jewelcrafting on Azeroth.

Every primary Profession in Dragonflight has 3 or 4 Specializations. You don't have to do any quests to unlock specializations, you will unlock them by leveling your profession. Choosing one specialization won't lock you out from choosing the others, you can have all of them with high enough profession skill.

Draconic Treatise on Inscription are new bind on pickup Inscription items that grant a knowledge point for a Dragonflight profession. You can only use one per profession every week and due to their bind on pickup nature most players will have to use the Crafting Orders to acquire them.

The Dragon Shard of Knowledge is an item you receive as a quest reward and from open world treasures such as Expedition Scout's Pack. You will need to open the ability to turn in Dragon Shards of Knowledge with a questline; in fact, you can't even collect these until you've opened Khadin's Wisdom with the final quest.

Draconic Augment Rune is obtained from Draconic Satchel of Cooperation, which is a bonus reward for queuing Call To Arms roles in the group finder.

In Dragonflight, you cannot level your profession to maximum easily like in previous expansions. For Jewelcrafting, you will only be able to reach skill 70/100 with vendor-learned recipes. You will be required to farm renown or use Knowledge points towards other recipes in order to fully max out your skill to 100/100.

Jewelcrafting is most often paired with Mining, since Prospecting involves breaking down ore into Gems. Since Mining and Prospecting are the only possible source for gems (other than the Auction House), this is by far the most common profession pairing with Jewelcrafting.

Best Race for Jewelcrafting in Dragonflight

There are no Horde races with Jewelcrafting bonuses, but Alliance players can be Draenei for +5 skill points or Kul'Tiran for +2 skill points.

The interface basically looks like the Auction House, but instead of players posting Auctions, it will be filled with Crafting Orders that players can complete as Jewelcrafters. Completing crafting orders can give you skill points if you complete orders for items that would normally give you a skill point.

As with the starter quest, the dailies are available at level 65 and require 375 Jewelcrafting skill. Note that there's no actual crafting involved; once you have the quest item and the gems, just right-click the quest item to combine it into the final hand-in.

Quests that give the tokens can be picked up on a daily basis from Timothy Jones in the Magus Exchange of Dalaran (coords:40.4, 35). He also starts a quest (Writ of Merit) that is required to unlock the dailies. PLEASE NOTE: this is sent to you by in-game mail.
